The Cool White Suzuki 9.9 HP EFI outboard motor model DF9.9BTXW5 includes a 25-inch extra-long shaft, electric start, power tilt, and remote throttle and shift control as standard features. The Suzuki 9.9 HP outboard engine is ideal for medium to large jon boats and skiffs that require an extra long shaft, as well as auxiliary power for sailboats and trolling/kicker applications. This 125-pound model has a built-in 12V charging system and a push-button electric start. In addition, all portable Suzuki models with an engine rating of 9.9 horsepower or less that have electric start retain the thru-cowl manual start pull cord. We have studied the actions of the other major outboard manufacturers and now believe that Model Year Elimination will offer a host of benefits to our Customers, Dealers and Boat Builders. Suzuki Marine can now introduce new outboard models to the market during the boating season, instead of waiting until the model year change. Consumers will be able to purchase these models sooner than in the past. Dealers and Boat Builders will carry a better supply of outboards because they will not have to reduce inventory in advance of a Model Year Change.
